GETTING STARTED
How do I get started?
Getting started is simple. Reach out I’d love to discuss with you all about
your project
You can:
• Send an email with your project info
• Request a Zoom/Google meet call to discuss it
• Text or call the studio directly at 512-219-0100
From there, I’ll guide you through the next steps and help you move
forward quickly and efficiently.
Do I need to be local to work with you?
Not at all. We work with clients from all over the world across every style
of music and post-production project.
The entire process can be handled remotely.
Local clients are always welcome to visit the studio and even review
mixes in person in our amazing control
room with Stereo, 5.1 or Dolby Atmos monitoring
What happens after I send my files?
Once your files are received, I load everything into a fresh session and
review the material.
We’ll connect by email, text, or Zoom to go over your project. The
process is simple and collaborative.
PRICING & TURNAROUND
How much does a typical project cost?
Music Mixing:
Flat rate per song based on complexity. Session files are needed first for
an accurate quote.
Mastering:
Rates are listed on the mastering page.
Recording Sessions:
$80/hour including engineer (tracking only)
Audio Post Production:
$100/hour billed in 15-minute increments
Discounts available for ongoing work such as a TV series or Podcast.
How long does a typical project take?
Music/Song Mixing:
2–3 days for first version
Music Mastering:
1–2 days for a single
2–3 days for an album
Tape Transfers:
2–3 days
Post Production:
Commercials: a few hours to 24 hours
Corporate Videos: ~24 hours
Documentaries: 4–5 days
Feature Films: 5–10 days
Simple edits: a few hours to 24 hours
Rush delivery is often available.
SENDING FILES
How do I send my files to the studio?
You can:
• Upload via Google Drive or Dropbox
• Use the secure upload link on our website
Both are fast and secure.
What should I NOT do before sending files?
Post Production:
Work normally — effects will not carry over in AAF/OMF export.
Music Mixing:
Send raw tracks and remove reverb/effects.
Mastering:
Remove any brickwall limiter on your mixbuss in your mix session and
export a
32bit float file if possible, otherwise a 24bit is fine.
Do you provide export instructions?
Yes. We provide a step-by-step PDF showing how to export AAF/OMF
correctly from all major video editing programs. We can send it
upon request or before you ask.
AUDIO POST PRODUCTION
What is included in audio post?
• Dialogue cleanup, EQ and Leveling
• EQ and compression
• Music and SFX balancing
• Final mix and delivery
Do you work with lav and boom mics?
Yes, I will use 1 or the other or a mix of both to create a
perfect dialogue track.
Can you edit to a script?
Yes. Script-based editing is available.
MUSIC MIXING & MASTERING
What will I receive after mastering?
• Multiple formats: Files for streaming, CD, and distribution
• A README guide explaining usage
What is an alternate version?
Instrumental, no vocal, radio edit, etc.
What’s the difference between mixing and mastering?
Mixing = shaping the sound
Mastering = final polish and delivery

Do I need both?
Yes, both steps are important for a professional result.
Do you just use a limiter?
No, Its so much more than that, everything is handled carefully for
clarity, feel, and dynamics.
REVISIONS
Can I request revisions? Are revisions included?
Music Mixing:
Yes, 2 rounds of revisions are included, additional are billed hourly
Mastering:
Revisions available if needed, Rarely do I recieve a revision for Mastering.
Post Production:
Unlimited revisions (hourly billed)

Do you provide stems or alternate versions?
Music:
Final master + optional alternate versions and stems
Post:
Stereo, surround, stems, and M&E versions
What formats do you deliver?
WAV, MP3, AAC, M4A, FLAC — any format needed
Any sample rate, bit depth, and loudness standard
What loudness levels?
-16 LUFS (YouTube)
-20 LUFS (Audiobook)
-24 LUFS (US Broadcast)
-23 LUFS (EU)
-27 LUFS (Theatrical)
What is LUFS?
A loudness standard for consistent playback volume across platforms.
DOLBY ATMOS
Do you offer Atmos?
Yes, mixed on a calibrated 7.1.4 system
What do I receive?
ADM file for distribution + binaural version for you to listen to
What about 5.1?
Yes, we can provied any surround format mixdown of the Atmos session
TAPE SERVICES
Can I run my mix through tape?
Yes we off that, we will run your mix through out tape machine to get that
“Tape”
vibe. Also note, when you hire us to Master your song, Tape hitting is
included.
What about tape hiss?
Tape hiss is about -70db, its not really an issue. We use our own custom
RX
NR setup which keeps it under control.
Can you adjust speed?
Yes, varispeed available.
Do you offer real Tape Flanging?
Yes! and we love doing that. Sample (Bridge of the song)
RECORDING SESSIONS
What should we bring?
Instruments, guitar amp and fx or use our amps and cabinets, no bass
amp needed,
we track Bass direct into the Manley pre, Keyboards if you have a
keyboard player,
drummer bring kit.
How long do Drums take to set up
If you are recording a demo, an hour, if you are in going after a final
product/major league
quality recording, it can take 1-4 hours. On projects that I am signed onto
produce,
2-4 hours is very average. If you use the studio kit, all that is needed is
time to balance
it out and setup cue mixes (head phone mix)
Studio drum kit? May we use it?
Yes, Please see our drum page
Click track?
Preferred, but optional
Pitch correction?
Yes, Both Pitch automation (Natural sounding) and Autotune.
Photos/video allowed?
Yes, and encouraged
